User Guide: Your Billboard Campaign Selector

Welcome! This guide will walk you through our powerful, one-page tool designed to make planning your digital billboard campaign simple and transparent. We'll show you how to find billboards, manage your selections, estimate costs, and get in touch with our team to bring your campaign to life.

Section 1: Getting Started - Finding Your Billboards

The first step is to locate potential billboards in your target area. Our tool allows you to search for inventory across the United States using a familiar ZIP code and radius system.

How to Search:

  1. Enter a ZIP Code: In the search bar, type the 5-digit US ZIP code for the central point of your desired advertising area.
  2. Select a Search Radius: Choose how far from that ZIP code you'd like to search. The default is 5 miles, but you can expand it up to 20 miles.
  3. Click "Search": Hit the search button or press Enter. The map and list will update with all available digital billboards within your specified zone.

What Happens When You Search?

When you initiate a search, our system instantly does a few things:

To keep things clean: If multiple billboards exist at the exact same physical address, we only display the single best option—the one with the highest potential audience (impressions). This prevents clutter on the map and ensures you're seeing the most impactful choice for that spot.

Section 2: The Map & List - Your Two Ways to Explore

After searching, your results are displayed in two synchronized formats: an interactive map and a scrollable list. You can use whichever you prefer.

Understanding the Map Markers

The pins on the map change color to help you keep track of your progress. Here’s what they mean:

Section 3: The Campaign Calculator - Estimating Your Cost

Once you've selected one or more billboards, it's time to estimate your campaign's cost. The calculator is designed to give you a clear, transparent projection.

Accessing the Calculator

Click the shopping cart icon shopping_cart in the top-right corner of the page. You'll notice a price next to it that updates in real-time as you use the calculator. This takes you to the calculator page.

How the Calculator Works

The calculator has two modes:

  1. Using Your Selections (Default): When you have billboards selected from the map/list, the calculator automatically uses that count. The "Number of Billboards" input will be hidden because it's using your live selection.
  2. Manual Entry: If you haven't selected any billboards (or if you remove them all), an input field will appear allowing you to manually enter a number of billboards to get a quick estimate.

The "Campaign Details" sidebar updates instantly as you adjust the numbers, showing you a breakdown of the total impressions and cost.

Understanding the Formula

We believe in transparency. The formula used for your estimate is always visible:

(Total Billboards × Impressions per Billboard) / 1,000 × CPM Rate = Estimated Monthly Cost
Don't worry about losing your selections! The tool automatically saves the billboards you've selected in your browser. If you accidentally close the tab or need to come back later, your chosen billboards will still be selected when you return.

Section 4: Submitting Your Campaign Request

When you're happy with your estimate, the final step is to send the details to our team. This is done through the contact form.

Important: Filling out this form is not a final purchase. It is a request for a formal quote and a consultation with our campaign experts. No payment is taken at this stage.

The Contact Form

Once you submit the form, our team will receive your selected billboards and campaign details. We will then contact you to discuss your ad creative, finalize the plan, and officially launch your campaign.

Section 5: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What are "impressions" and are they guaranteed?

A: An "impression" is a standard advertising term for a single instance of your ad being seen. For billboards, this is an estimate of how many people are expected to see your ad based on traffic data, location, and time of day. While these are highly educated estimates based on powerful analytics, they are not a guarantee. Factors like road construction, major events, or adverse weather can cause daily traffic patterns to fluctuate.

Q: What does "CPM" mean?

A: CPM stands for "Cost Per Mille," which is Latin for "Cost Per Thousand." It is the price you pay for one thousand estimated impressions. It's a standard way to measure the cost-effectiveness of an advertising campaign.

Q: I selected some billboards, but when I searched for a new ZIP code, they disappeared from the list. Did I lose them?

A: No, you did not lose them! The map and list only show the results for your most recent search to keep the display clean. However, all your selected billboards (the ones with purple markers) are still saved in your campaign. When you go to the calculator page, you will see the total count of all billboards you've selected across all your searches.

Q: Can I remove a billboard directly from the calculator page?

A: Yes. On the calculator page, you'll see a list of your selected locations. You can remove any of them there, and the map, list, and your saved selections will all update automatically.

Q: Can I change my ad banner or creative after I start a campaign?

A: Absolutely. Once you submit your request and our team contacts you, we will guide you through the process of submitting your ad creative. We also provide options for updating your creative during a live campaign. Our experts will cover all the details with you.

Thank you for using our tool! If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team after submitting your campaign request.
